The Problem We Solve

Firmware-faked sticks and co-mingled stock are wrecking buyer trust.

Marketplace USB drives are flooded with firmware-faked capacity — a stick reports 1TB to the OS but only holds a fraction of real NAND, then silently overwrites or loses data once it fills past the genuine size. Co-mingled warehouse stock means even a legitimate listing can ship a counterfeit. The fix isn't a bigger brand on the label, it's a traceable factory source: real NAND, real capacity, verified before it ships — and the margin that comes from buying direct instead of from a reseller's markup.

Capacity you can verify100% H2testw tested with a report per batch — and a sample to re-test on your own bench before volume.

Why Source-Factory

A USB drive is only as honest as the supplier behind it

Capacity and grade mean nothing if the next batch quietly swaps to smaller NAND or a re-flashed controller. Source-factory control is the whole point.

01
Stated interface & NAND

USB version and NAND mode on the datasheet per SKU — you quote and qualify against numbers, not a sticker.

02
100% H2testw tested — verify it yourself

Every unit capacity-tested with a report per batch, and you can re-run H2testw on arrival. No co-mingled inventory, no marketplace mystery stock — straight from the line, batch-traceable. We publish the guaranteed usable-capacity floor most sellers hide.

03
Locked & traceable

BOM, controller and firmware fixed per order, locked part numbers, every batch traceable — no silent swaps wrecking your RMA rate.

04
Allocation, confirmed at order

Authorized agent of an IATF 16949 source factory — stable lead times through the 2026 NAND shortage.

Who Buys This

Built for builders and resellers who can't ship a fake

Device & IoT OEMsSolder-down UDP/COB for sticks, set-top, medical and industrial gear — clean BOM, reflow specs supplied.
Promotional & branded USB sellersFinished drives with your logo, preloaded image and CD-ROM autorun — real capacity, no firmware fakes.
Distributors & resellersA direct factory source with the margin a marketplace markup already eats — allocation that survives the shortage.

FAQ

USB flash modules — sourcing questions

What is the difference between UDP, COB and a PCB USB drive?
They are three packaging levels for the same job. A PCB drive is the classic build: a controller and a separate TSOP/BGA NAND chip soldered onto a small printed circuit board, then cased. COB (chip-on-board) bonds the bare NAND and controller dies directly onto a substrate and seals them in epoxy — smaller, more shock- and moisture-resistant, common in slim and waterproof bodies. UDP (USB Disk in Package) goes further: controller and NAND are integrated into a single moulded module with the USB contacts built in, so it needs no separate connector or PCB. MUDP is the micro/mini UDP variant for tight spaces. UDP and COB are what you spec when size, drop-resistance and a clean BOM matter; PCB still wins on the very highest capacities and 3.2 speeds.
Do you supply solder-down (board-mount) modules or finished drives?
Both. We ship bare UDP / MUDP / COB modules for you to solder down onto your own board (USB sticks, IoT devices, set-top boxes, medical and industrial gear), and we ship finished USB drives — your housing or ours, packaged and ready to retail. Tell us whether you need board-mount footprints and reflow specs, or a finished product with your branding, and we quote the matching SKU.
Can you preload data, partition the drive, emulate a CD-ROM or set write-protect?
Yes — these are standard OEM firmware options. We can preload your image or installer at the factory, create fixed partitions, set a hidden or read-only partition, enable CD-ROM (autorun) emulation for installers and recovery media, and apply hardware or firmware write-protect so the contents cannot be altered in the field. Vendor ID / Product ID customisation and serial-number rules are available too. Send us the image and the behaviour you need and we lock it into the production firmware.
How do I know your capacity is real and not firmware-faked like marketplace sticks?
Every module is 100% H2testw capacity-tested with a report per batch, and you can re-run H2testw the moment it arrives. Firmware-faked sticks report a large size to the OS but only have a fraction of the real NAND, so they silently overwrite or lose data once they pass the genuine capacity — H2testw writes and verifies the whole drive, which is exactly how that fraud gets caught. Our stock comes straight from the source-factory line with a locked BOM and traceable batches — no co-mingled marketplace inventory where a genuine listing can ship a counterfeit.
How can a buyer verify a USB drive’s true capacity before shipping in volume?
Run H2testw (Windows) or F3 (Mac/Linux) on a sample — both write data across the full claimed capacity and then read it back, so a firmware-faked drive fails verification immediately. Don’t trust the size the OS reports or a quick file copy; a faked stick passes both until it is filled past its real NAND. We do this on 100% of units and include the report, and we send a sample batch before volume so you can confirm on your own bench. That is the difference between a traceable factory source and re-flashed stock from a marketplace.
What grade of NAND and which USB interface do you offer?
Interfaces run from USB 2.0 for cost-driven and embedded jobs up to USB 3.0 / 3.2 Gen 1 for finished high-speed drives. NAND grade is stated on every quote: mainstream 3D TLC for general OEM, with higher-endurance grades or pSLC (cells run in 1-bit mode) available for industrial and write-heavy use. We put the NAND mode and interface on the datasheet rather than leaving it to a sticker — different grades carry different endurance and price.
What is the MOQ and lead time during the 2026 NAND shortage?
As an authorized agent of a source factory we confirm price and lead time at order, so they hold firm while spot-market supply dries up. MOQ runs from carton level for resellers and module quantities for board-mount integrators, up to volume tiers for distributors. Tell us package (UDP / MUDP / COB / finished), capacity, interface and monthly volume and we return a real factory quote, usually the same business day.
