OEM FLASH STORAGE SOURCING

A flash storage supplier that starts with your application.

Industrial SSD, high-endurance microSD, USB flash modules and embedded eMMC/UFS for device OEMs, integrators and distributors. We match storage to the workload, document the agreed configuration and qualify a sample before volume production.

THE BUYING PROBLEM

The same capacity label can hide a different product.

Interface and capacity are only the start. A storage device can change controller, NAND, firmware behavior, write endurance or temperature grade while keeping the same retail name. For an OEM program, that creates requalification work and field risk.

01
Performance that changes by batch

Peak speed is not sustained behavior. We ask for the workload before recommending the grade.

02
Uncontrolled component substitutions

Where fixed configuration is required, its exact scope belongs in the commercial documents.

03
Evidence arriving after the failure

Samples, specifications and applicable records should be reviewed before the production PO.

PRODUCT FAMILIES

One qualification path across four storage categories

Choose the closest family. The final recommendation is made against the host, workload and environment - not a headline specification.

FROM REQUIREMENT TO REORDER

A commercial process built around qualification

1Application review

We review the host, workload, environment, capacity and forecast before proposing a product.

2Configuration proposal

The proposed family, grade, commercial assumptions and current availability are documented.

3Sample qualification

Your team tests the proposed configuration in the real host and workload before approval.

4Full-address error scan

For supported host-visible samples, HD Tune Error Scan or an agreed equivalent checks the full reported address range with Quick Scan disabled.

5Production control

Approved configuration, acceptance evidence and applicable change terms become the reference for repeat orders.

Scope note: An HD Tune error scan identifies unreadable regions in the host-visible address space. It does not expose raw NAND bad-block counts and does not replace a full-capacity write/read test when write integrity or counterfeit capacity is in scope.

TRUST, IN DOCUMENTS

What "qualified" should leave behind

A logo wall is not a qualification record. Useful proof is attached to the proposed part and the agreed supply program.

Our role, stated plainly

Kalstor is the export and commercial interface. Production, assembly and testing are performed by our source manufacturing partner. Applicable certificates, test evidence and program controls are confirmed against the selected product - not implied across every SKU.

REQUEST A SPECIFICATION MATCH

Send the application, not just a capacity.

Describe the host and workload so we can rule out the wrong grade and prepare a useful quotation.

  • Host platform and interface
  • Capacity and sustained write requirement
  • Temperature and power-loss conditions
  • Sample quantity and volume forecast
  • BOM, firmware, packaging or branding requirements

PROCUREMENT FAQ

Questions worth answering before the quote

Product-level commitments belong in the quotation and approval documents.

Is Kalstor the manufacturer?

Kalstor is the export and commercial interface for B2B projects. Production, assembly and testing are performed by our source manufacturing partner. The responsible entity, available documentation and supply terms are stated in the project quotation; we do not present Kalstor itself as a fabrication plant.

Can the BOM and firmware be locked for repeat orders?

Where the selected product program supports it, the controller, NAND configuration, firmware and part number can be fixed against an agreed specification. The exact control scope is written into the quotation rather than assumed from a general website claim.

What can we review before a volume order?

Depending on the product and project, the review package can include the proposed datasheet, a qualification sample, agreed part-number and change-control terms, and applicable test or quality-system documentation. Availability is confirmed before purchase order.

Do you have a standard MOQ and lead time?

There is no honest single number across SSD, microSD, USB modules and BGA storage. MOQ and lead time depend on configuration, packaging, firmware work, current component availability and whether the order is a sample or a production lot. We confirm both against the requested specification.

Can we qualify a sample before production?

Yes, for qualified B2B projects. Tell us the host interface, workload, environment and target volume. We will confirm a suitable sample configuration, sample terms and the checks to complete before volume approval.
